Some of us Native Americans don’t appreciate the ones like you that make us all look like fucking sensitive babies. I’m done wasting my time on you because WE believe in peace, not pointless hatred. Take care.  I know some of you are Diné, so maybe you’d like to have a word with this half-cocked white girl. And the picture, holy fuck this picture. Dear “gypsylicious” I cannot even begin to address just how disgusting the words in that picture are.  If your entire conception of indigeneity is one of casinos and headdresses, then I’m not even sure on what level I should engage you, because your racism is so obvious that I’m practically choking. So you’re “proud” that outsiders, ayahciniw, are stealing, desecrating and commodifying the sacred expressions of Plains people?   You’re proud that white people can take these, and create their own meanings for them, so they can shoehorn them into narratives that exclude us? And don’t you think it’s just a little insulting, a little problematic, a little racist, to declare that the only ‘exposure’ we have is that some of tribes operate casions? and why should any one of us give a fuck about ‘exposure’ on white people’s terms? And don’t you think that, as a self-proclaimed Navajo, that you shouldn’t really be condoning the use of sacred objects which aren’t a part of Navajo culture? The Navajo didn’t wear the headdress or use dream catchers.  Did you know that? So even if you were, you still haven’t got any right to use them in the way you’re advocating. And your username is still a slur, imaginary Irish Traveller heritage or not. You are so fucking full of shit. Somehow ayiman’s rage and eloquent cursing always makes my heart happy.
